Tree Surgery & Tree Removal in Clare & Wider Munster
Tree Removal & Felling
Where a tree needs to be removed, Crann Rí can undertake complete tree removal, including trees in difficult or restricted locations. Each removal is assessed in advance, taking account of the condition of the tree, access, surrounding structures, ground conditions and how the tree can be safely brought down. Depending on the tree and site, work may involve sectional removal, felling, delimbing, snedding, timber processing and site clearance.
Crown Reduction & Tree Maintenance
Trees sometimes need pruning to manage their size, shape, condition or relationship with their surroundings. Crann Rí carries out crown reduction, crown thinning and general tree maintenance, with the work tailored to the species, structure and condition of the tree.
Work can include selective pruning, crown thinning, deadwood removal, crown reduction and branch removal, with the aim of carrying out only the work the tree requires.
Storm Damage & Emergency Tree Work
Severe weather can leave trees split, uprooted or damaged and sometimes requires urgent attention. Crann Rí has experience carrying out emergency tree work following storms and can assess damaged trees and deal with the work required. Storm-damaged trees can present immediate risks to buildings, roads, vehicles and surrounding property. Crann Rí can assess damaged trees and carry out the necessary removal or clearance work, including emergency work outside normal hours.
Hedge Management, Removal & Installation
We also provide hedge trimming, reduction, installation and removal for domestic, commercial and larger sites. From routine hedge maintenance to overgrown hedges requiring substantial reduction or removal, the work is assessed according to the hedge, access and what is required on site.
Site Clearance & Processing
Once tree work is complete, timber can be processed or removed as required. Crann Rí can arrange on-site woodchipping, timber processing and thorough site tidy-ups, with the approach depending on the size of the job, access and what is most practical for the site.
Where suitable, timber can also be processed for firewood.
